In the simplest terms, pool styles can be separated into two major categories known as “geometric” and “free-form/natural.” Of course, there are exceptions and nuances to this, but let’s start with the definition of the basics.
GEOMETRIC POOLS:
A “geometric” pool provides a neat and classy look. Don’t just think “rectangle” when you think geometric pools, either! This style of pool can also combine shapes such as rectangles and circles to create a “Roman” or “Grecian” style pool. The different designs of geometric pools are limitless, but they usually are accomplished with some combination of the following design styles and features:

A “natural” or “free-form” pool provides a much more relaxed and natural look, and don’t just think “kidney bean” shaped when you have free-form pools in mind!
