Robert’s been in the swimming pool industry 34 years. He founded The Pool Man in 1981, with the promise to deliver outstanding swimming pool service to customers in Houston and the surrounding areas. His main objective for the company is still helping you create the perfect backyard oasis. Robert is married to Merrie Sheltz and they have three grown children living in the Tomball area.

Co- founder of The Pool Man, Merrie has been contributing to the company’s success for 29 years. Keeping the office organized, she is the main source of support for the Pool Man staff; allowing our team of custom pool builders and swimming pool repair and renovation specialists to better serve our customers.

Ted joined The Pool Man in 2001 bringing with him over 36 years of knowledge in swimming pool construction. He is the head of sales and our new pool construction department. Ted and his wife Donna live in Tomball and have been married for 30 years with three grown children.
